1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PathRecovery (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PathRecovery is a recovery and rehabilitation tracking application that allows users to:

  • Track daily mood, pain levels, energy, and sleep quality
  • Set and monitor recovery goals
  • Manage prescribed exercises and routines
  • Record milestones and achievements
  • Connect with a community of users (optional)
  • Sync wearable device data (optional)

3. User Accounts

To use PathRecovery, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use PathRecovery.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or user data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's security or performance
  • Collect or harvest user information without consent
  • Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on PathRecovery (check-ins, goals, posts, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate these Terms or infringe on others' rights.

6. Community Guidelines

If you participate in community features, you agree to:

  • Be respectful and supportive of other users
  • Not share medical advice or make health claims
  • Not post harmful, harassing, or offensive content
  • Respect the privacy of other users

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines.

7. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: PathRecovery is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service is for informational and tracking purposes only. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment based on information in PathRecovery.

8. Payment Terms

If PathRecovery offers paid features or subscriptions:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are provided only as required by law

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PathRecovery at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your data from the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATHRECOVERY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR DATA USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PATHRECOVERY IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANYTHING.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PathRecovery and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PathRecovery operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
